Individuals may be cited for
traffic and parking violations
committed while on campus
including parking without a
valid permit, parking in an
unauthorized area, blocking a
roadway, etc. Unpaid fines will
result in a hold being placed on
your records, which will prevent
you from registering for classes
and obtaining college
transcripts or financial aid.
After a reasonable time, unpaid
fines are referred to a
collection agency.
If you wish to appeal a
citation, complete a Citation
Appeal Form by downloading it
from this website. You may
alternatively pick up a copy of
the form at the Security Office
(5000 building; room 5102).
Appeals must be filed within (5)
business days after the date on
the ticket. After that time you
will be required to pay the fine
and may not appeal.
When turning in an appeal
form, the security department
will also need a copy of your
ticket and a copy of your
identification (driver's
license, student ID).
